Inside an Orlando Hindu Wedding Weekend:
Bhoomi & Konark at Omni Orlando

A Baraat in motion, a ceremony built around the mandap, and a dance floor for every generation.

A wedding weekend with room to move.

Bhoomi and Konark celebrated at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, about 20 minutes from the Disney parks. Their traditional Hindu wedding brought both families together across several events. The resort’s range of spaces meant each part of the weekend could have its own setting.

The weekend in motion.

Bhoomi and Konark at their Omni Orlando wedding, from Baraat to dance floor

From the outdoor Baraat to the reception dance floor, watch Bhoomi and Konark’s celebration.

One resort, a setting for every event.

Omni Orlando’s Ballroom Commons offers an outdoor setting with a Tuscan-style backdrop. The Grand Salon brings floor-to-ceiling windows, a terrace and a lawn with a water wall; the International Ballroom can be divided for events of different sizes. That flexibility let Bhoomi and Konark give each event a distinct space while their families stayed together on property.

Clear ceremony sound, without a visible compromise.

The ceremony sound was planned around a mandap built specifically for this wedding.

Sound shaped around a custom mandap.

The resort does not have a fixed mandap or stage, so the ceremony audio had to follow the decorator’s layout. We placed the speakers where they would not block family or photographers and positioned the priest’s microphone to capture the ritual without getting in the way. Outdoors, heat, wind and open space can scatter sound, so placement mattered as much as volume.

The Baraat moved. The music moved with it.

Konark’s family and friends danced beneath the covered entrance while guests filled the space behind them. Mobile sound kept the music with the procession instead of leaving it in one spot.

A dance floor for every generation.

At the reception, we moved from familiar Bollywood into Bhangra and throwbacks as the room changed. The mix kept children, younger guests and grandparents connected to the same celebration, while lighting followed the music and helped the night build.

Services across the full weekend.

“Empire Entertainment made our wedding so much fun and completely stress-free. The music was perfect, and we loved every moment on the dance floor.”

Plan your Orlando wedding around what matters.

We planned the speakers and priest’s microphone around the custom mandap, coordinated timing with the decorator, and brought the energy back up when the day turned to celebration.
