A ceremony true to Gujarati tradition and a Garba night full of Orlando energy.
When Sunny and Pankti began planning their wedding, they wanted two things that don’t always go together: a ceremony that stayed true to Gujarati tradition down to the smallest ritual, and a Garba night big enough to match the energy of Orlando’s Gujarati community. That became our brief.

From the ceremony to Garba and the reception, music and production followed each moment of the day.
Gujarati weddings carry their own sequence: the Mandap Mahurat, Ponkhvu, Hasta Melap, and Saptapadi, each paired with specific devotional and folk music rather than generic ceremony playlists. We worked with the family ahead of time to build the run of show around the priest’s timing, so every ritual had the right music at the right moment.
The ceremony soundtrack followed the priest’s timing from Mandap Mahurat through Saptapadi.
This is where Gujarati weddings ask the most of a DJ, and it’s where we do our best work. We opened with traditional Garba and Dandiya to bring the whole hall onto the floor, grandparents included, then layered in newer Garba fusion and Bollywood as the night built. We read the room in real time rather than follow a fixed setlist. By the end, three generations were dancing at once.
For the reception, we ran a full LED video wall for the couple’s photo reel and welcome messages, warm uplighting through the room, and a set that moved from Bollywood into Top 40 as the night opened up.
Our MC, fluent in Gujarati and English, kept both sides of the family and both generations following the night without a beat lost in translation.
